Foxtel has renewed it's longest running Australian drama series Wentworth for a 12 episode fifth season to premiere in 2017.

The fifth season of the television drama series Wentworth which will premiere on SoHo in Australia on 4 April 2017. It was executively produced by FremantleMedia's Director of Drama, Jo Porter. The season comprises 12 episodes. Season five picks up just days after the stabbing death of Bea Smith.
